Description

Take a left at the trailhead. Easy, forested for the first 1.5 miles. Two stream crossings at 1.9 miles then the trail is over rock for a mile. Subalpine forest and small meadows from there to pass. Trail continues into North Cascades National Park (park service permits are required for camping).

Good views, but limited camping at the pass. Firewood is scarce, recommend no campfires or overnight stock use.

Wilderness use restrictions apply.

Northwest Forest Pass required. Stock ramp, hitch rails, and pit toilets.
