Basic Directions
From St. Maries, Idaho follow Forest Highway 50 to Forest Road 321 at Marble Creek. Follow Forest Road 321 past the junction with Forest Road 216 to the trailhead. Trail 261 may also be accessed from Trail 273 and from Trail 251 north of Grandmother Mountain.
