Description

Nearly 500 years ago a mudslide swept over a Makah village, burying buildings and their contents in one fell swoop. Over the intervening centuries many artifacts have been uncovered and are now on display in the Makah Museum, a superb tribal museum in Neah Bay. Exhibits sweep from the early days of the Makah tribe to the more modern contributions of Makah artists. Leave yourself an hour or two to stroll the Cape Flattery Trail nearby.
