Overview
Comprising much of Lake Roosevelt starting at Grand Coulee and the Grand Coulee dam, Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area offers hundreds of miles of waterways studded with campgrounds along the banks and scenic drives in the nearby forests and mountains.
The ancient ice-age floods that sculpted the surround landscape will ignite your spirit, whether exploring Lake Roosevelt by houseboat, small boat or canoe, or exploring the historical grounds of Ft. Spokane or the engineering achievement of Grand Coulee dam.
