Description
Beginning on Road 2306, this trail follows Kraus Ridge through dense old growth. The trail crosses Road 2506 and ends on Road 2506.037. There are views of the Cispus River Valley and Tower Rock. Ride the 2506 road back to make a loop. A Forest map makes it easier to figure out which way to go.
The trail was named after William Kraus, a prospector and homesteader in the area before 1905. It is usually a good early season hike.
Closed to motorized use from December 1 to April 1.
