Description

This trail begins on Road 2150.040 at the "Berry Patch" trailhead. The trail climbs north to the open, alpine Goat Ridge. Intersecting with Trail No. 95A then Jordan Creek Trail No. 94, it continues along the ridge to end on Lily Basin Trail No. 86, above Jordan Basin.

Berry Patch was the site of a Forest Service Ranger Station from 1910 to the 1930s. Long before that, the site was an important Taidnapam/Yakama berry picking site. Goat Ridge Lookout Trail No. 95A is a loop off Goat Ridge Trail No. 95. It climbs Goat Ridge to the former site of a fire lookout, then descends north to connect with Trail No. 95 again. This 1.1-mile loop offers excellent views.
