Description

Trail No. 76 begins on Hwy 12 and descends 1 mile to the Clear Fork of the Cowlitz River. Hikers must ford the river. The trail climbs through a dense forest, crossing Clear Fork Trail No. 61 and on into an alpine landscape, ending at the junction of Bluff Lake Trail No. 65 and Packwood Lake Trail No. 78 about 1 mile north of Lost Lake.

There are no bridge crossings. There is room for only one vehicle at the trailhead on Hwy 12.
