The Main Skagit offers great beginner-intermediate level whitewater surrounded by the pristine forests of North Cascades National Park.

Originating high in the Cascade mountains, the Skagit’s waters are held back by dam control, allowing for year round boatable flows. Thick forests line the Main Skagit’s banks with good wildlife viewing opportunity; sightings of deer, bear, and raptors are common.
