Description
This trail traverses steadily up a valley through forests and avalanche chutes, arriving at a spectacular vista of Source Lake and the surrounding peaks.
The trail switchbacks up through old growth forest on the north slope of Snoqualmie Mountain. Continuing on the trail it becomes rocky, the brush thick and the sidehills very steep. There are views of Mt. Garfield and a waterfall along the way. The trail intercepts the Snow Lake Trail No. 1013 and the lake is a short walk in either direction from the junction.
A Northwest Forest Pass is required for each vehicle parked at the trailhead.
No campfires.
The trail is closed to motorized vehicles, bicycles and stock.
Dogs must be on a leash.
