This is considered a borderline high elevation lake. It is easily accessible with a short hike to the lake from the trailhead. Due to the ease of access, this lake is very popular within the Summer months. The ease of access lends this small lake to be fished with a light-weight inflatable raft. The alpine setting is typical of a North Cascade lake here in western Washington State.
