For the most part, Kelly Flats isn't too frightening - a good, clean bumpy ride with a lot of climbs. There are a couple of extreme obstacles, though, which you can skip if you're not in the mood for. (The bypass trails can be rough in their own right, full of moguls and loose surface-dirt.) These obstacles are Heart Attack Hill, a tough, rocky road with plenty of ruts, and the Chutes. This is another very tricky climb, save with larger rocks (it winds between giant boulders) and has a tight turn in the middle of that climb.
