Description

Welcome to JX Ranch Bunkhouse - a short twenty-minute drive from Interstate 40 and old Route 66 at Tucumcari, New Mexico.

Located on this 7,000-acre cattle ranch, two miles off the pavement, you are assured privacy, peace and quiet away from the noise and lights of town. Here you can enjoy nature from the shade of the JX Ranch Bunkhouse, built by early settlers and was the original Homestead. While we have done some remodeling, we have strived to leave it as authentic as possible; it is not fancy, but very rustic and cozy! Bring slippers; the old wood-floors are cold in the winter-time, hard year-round.

Choose from:

The BUNKHOUSE consisting of the Longhorn Room and Cow Camp; a double-door connects the two. Each area has a kitchen, bath and private entrance. The entire Bunkhouse accommodates 5 people.

OR

The LONGHORN ROOM is the larger of the two - It features the original rock fire-place, three twin beds, an antique wagon-wheel sofa and rocker, a TV, fully equipped kitchen area and a bathroom with a claw-foot tub used for showers. Staples for a continental breakfast are provided.

OR

The COW CAMP has two twin beds, a wagon-wheel sofa and TV, and a fully-equipped kitchen and bathroom. Staples for a continental breakfast are provided.
