Description
The Iron Creek Campground Loop Trail is a barrier-free trail designed for everyone, including people with disabilities, families and anyone else looking for a wide, level trail. The trail was built by volunteers. It can be accessed from various locations in the Iron Creek Campground and from Iron Creek Picnic Area.
The trail circles the campground, weaving through hardwoods, oldgrowth Douglasfir, western redcedar and hemlock. Much of the trail offers beautiful views of the Cispus River. The trail connects with Iron Creek Oldgrowth Trail No. 87 at the Iron Creek Picnic Area. The picnic area serves as the primary trailhead for both trails. The picnic area is open year-round.
