Description
The trail is a short1/2 mile loop nature trail with colored signsinterpreting the Olympic’s temperate rain forest.
The trailhead includes a largeparking lot that will accommodate largerecreation vehicles, vehicles pulling trailers andbusses. A barrier-free flush toilet, drinking waterand a visitor information board are alsoavailable.
Dense old-growth conifer forestwith lush understory of rain forest vegetation.Trail parallels Willaby Creek Gorge for a shortdistance with views of ferns, moss and lichens.
Excellent opportunity toview the Olympic’s temperate rain forest. The first 850 feet is barrier-free and accessible toindividuals in wheelchairs. A great trail for dayhiking, hiking with children, and viewingscenery and wildlife.
Motorized vehicles, mountainbikes, and stock are prohibited. NOTE: This isa very popular nature trail and all pets should beon a leash.
