Description
This trail receivesyearly maintenance and is in good condition.
Enter trail from either the Northor South end of lake. NOTE: The trail and lakemight not be signed, look for Spider Lake belowthe FS Road No. 23 on the east side of the road.There is no toilet or potable water at thetrailhead.
This trail loops around Spider Lakethrough old growth forest. Lush plants along trail.
Day hiking, camping,fishing, wildlife viewing, and bird watching.
Motorized vehicles, horses, andmountain bikes are prohibited.

Basic Directions
Located northwest of Shelton in theSkokomish River Recreation Area. Travel USHighway 101 to the Skokomish Valley Road, (7mi. north of Shelton, 7 mi. south of Hoodsport).Turn west on the Valley road and drive about 5.5miles to the junction with FS Road #23. Turnright and proceed for 10 miles on FS Road #23to the junction of FS Road #2353. Veer left andcontinue on FS Road #23 (end of pavement)another 8 miles to the Spider Lake Trailhead.
