Ferry System

The Washington State Ferry system is the largest passenger and auto ferry network in the United States, and services over 25 million customers each year. Plan to arrive at the ferry terminal at least 30 minutes prior to departure to ensure a place on the first come, first served ferries.

Airports

With allmost 29,000,000 passengers in 2004 alone, SeaTac is the 16th busiest commercial airport in the United States and encourages you to acquire a map of the airport before you arrive. Serviced by all major airlines, you should be able to book a flight into SeaTac from just about anywhere, at just about anytime. Seatac is located south of downtown Seattle and can be accessed via I-5.

Basic Directions

It seems that almost every road in Washington ends up in Seattle so you should have no problem navigating there. The main north south route is I-5 which spans the entire length of the state. I-90 traverses Washington lengthwise and connects Seattle with Spokane and more.
