Description
This trail ismaintained only during the summer months.The trail is a moderate grade but stay on thetrail, as hazards exist off the trail. View thefalls from the top of the bank at the falls.
There is a small parking areaat the trailhead. The nearest potable water is atCollins Campground when the campground isopen (May to September).
This trail goes through secondgrowth forest to old growth forest around thefalls.
Day hiking and picture–taking. Peek-a-boo views of Mt. Jupiter andJupiter Ridge. Good place for camera shots of thehigh, picturesque Murhut Falls. Practice LEAVENO TRACE techniques during your trip.
Trail is closed to motorizedvehicles, stock, and mountain bikes.

Travel Highway 101 to theDuckabush Recreation Area, FS Rd. #2510(22 miles north of Hoodsport.) Follow roadfor 6.2 mi. to FS Rd. #2530, turn right on thisroad and drive 1.3 mi. to the trailhead.
