12.8 miles in length.

Some sections have grades of 20%. Horses andmountain bikers should be in good condition.

The trailhead is located 0.5mile from the Highway on the right side of Road No. 3071. Trailhead has a toilet, bulletinboard, and ample parking. A nearby streamserves as a water source for stock.

From a lush temperate forestvalley, the trail climbs 2,200 feet in three milesto Snider Ridge. It weaves four miles throughDouglas-fir trees on the north side of the ridgeand rocky points and high meadows to thesouth. The trail meanders along the ridge topbetween Jim’s Junction and Mosley gap. Itoffers spectacular views of Mt. Olympus, LakeCrescent, the Straits of Juan de Fuca, and theSol Duc Valley below. The trail descends tothe valley floor through boulder formations andoverhanging moss. The loop trail returns to thetrailhead through beautiful stands of maple,Douglas-fir and western hemlock.

Hiking, riding, mountainbiking and viewing scenery. Ever-changingcolors of flowers. Carry adequate drinking waterand be prepared for bad weather. The flowermeadows are very fragile. Please stay on the trail.Tether stock in designated areas only or in thetrees below the meadows. Practice LEAVE NOTRACE techniques during your trip.

Motorized vehicles are prohibited.
