Parking lot for Ranger Hole and Interrorem Nature Trail, picnic area, and vault toilet. Interrorem Cabin is available for over-night rent. Contact the Hood Canal Ranger Station for details. Please respect the privacy ofthe renters. Potable water is available at Collins Campground 1 mile west Interrorem Cabin
Take a step back in time to the early 1900’s when Forest Ranger Emery Finchbrought his bride to live in the Duckabush Area.This interpretive loop trail winds through largesecond-growth trees growing among giantstumps of cedars (up to 9 ft. in diameter) and firs from yesteryear. Rainforest atmosphere with avariety of ferns and mosses.
Excellent short family dayhiking, bird watching, wildlife viewing. Vegetationis similar to the Rain Forest. Practice LEAVE NOTRACE techniques during your trip.

Drive US Highway 101 to theDuckabush Recreation Area, FS Rd. #2510 (22miles north of Hoodsport). Turn west and drive4 miles to end of pavement. Interrorem Cabinand trailhead are on left side of road. Please do not block gate into cabin driveway.
