Bainbridge Island Bike Tour

Basics
Length:
28 miles
Difficulty:
Intermediate
Time To Allow:
2 - 4 hours
Season:
Year-round.

Description

This loop covers 28 miles of island roads and was at one time the route for the Chilly Hilly Race. The ride takes between two and four hours to traverse, depending on experience. There are several challenging hills.

A popular tour with Seattle residents, as the typical starting point is the Bainbridge Island ferry dock, a quick 20 minute boat trip from downtown Seattle. From Winslow on Bainbridge Island, the route follows the Seattle facing banks of the Puget Sound, loops around the northern section of the island, and returns through the western side woods.
