Kitsap Peninsula - Hiking
It is amazing that no
less than a half hour ferry ride from Seattle or Tacoma such
open, natural areas can be found as what awaits the hiker on Kitsap
Peninsula. Much of the lower peninsula is forested or open farmland.
An extensive network of trails link many of the state parks in the
area together, and there are continual improvements and extensions to
the trails.
A good place to start, if you are interested in stretching your
legs, is in one of the many Washington state parks on Kitsap
Peninsula.
