Ferry System

Washington Ferries are the number-one tourist attraction in the area. The Mukeltio/Clinton Ferry crosses from the mainland to Clinton, on Whidbey Island every 30 minutes. Whidbey Island ferry services also serve as a gateway to many ports including Port Townsand, Victoria BC, Vancouver BC and the beautiful San Juan Islands.

The Washington State Ferry system is the largest passenger and auto ferry network in the United States, and services over 25 million customers each year. Plan to arrive at the ferry terminal at least 30 minutes prior to departure to ensure a place on the first come, first served ferries.

Airport Information

The closest airport to Whidbey Island is Seattle/Tacoma's SeaTac. Serviced by all major airlines, you should be able to book a flight into SeaTac from just about anywhere, at just about anytime. Seatac is located south of downtown Seattle and can be accessed via I-5.
