A ferry ride down to Vashon from Seattle is not only a convenient commute, but provides for some spectacular views of the bay. The ride is about 35 minutes and the ferry runs Monday through Friday. There are only three times to catch this ferry each day, however: 7:35 am, 4:45 pm and 6:10 pm from Seattle side and 7:00 am, 8:15 am and 5:25 pm Vashon side.
