Seattle's Asian Art Museum should go on your cultural do-to list for several reasons - housed in a lovely Art Deco facility, visitors stopping in to see the collection will get views over downtown Seattle thrown in for the effort of this pleasant detour. The collection exhibited inside isn't exhaustive by any standards, but provides a thoroughy diverse look at art from the Ancient Mediterranean on to the Aboriginal, African and Asian that is both inspiring and enlightening.
