Description

Port Angeles is a city at the north central point of the Olympic Peninsula. It is home to the largest airport on the peninsula - the William R. Fairchild International Airport. The town is also the headquarters and gateway to Olympic National Park. From Port Angeles you can see the southern shore of Vancouver Island across the Strait of Juan de Fuca. There is a ferry service available to Victoria, British Columbia from Port Angeles.

The city of Port Angeles is highly scenic, nestled in the green foothills of the Olympic Mountains as they taper down to the coast - with the majestic mountains as backdrop. Together the town and harbor have numerous attractions, hotels, and restaurants. As the gateway to Olympic National Park and much of the northern peninsula, the town is an ideal base for day trips and outdoor recreation in the surrounding wilderness.
