Painted Valley Farms is now in their 4th year of offering summer horse camps. Children have a great time - at Painted Valley Farms our summer camps are FUN! Children get to do lots of activities as well as learn about basic handling and riding. Painted Valley Farms isfocused on safety while still having a great time and making friends.
The camp is open for ages 6 to 12 years of age. There are several levels that are designed for those who have little to no experience with horses or riding to those students who can saddle and walk/trot their horses. Students will learn a variety of things about horses including: different colors, feeding needs, breeds, saddle and bridle parts, grooming and riding basics. Students will handle and ride horses in the morning and afternoon. The week ends with an exhibition for family and friends of the students newly acquired riding skills and knowledge. Levels 2 and 3 are available for returning students.
