Nordic Heritage Museum

Even if none of your ancestors emmigrated from Scandinavia it's worth a stop at the Nordic Museum in Seattle to see a sampling of the cultural contributions made by these northerners. Permanent exhibits explore the American Dream, and offer a glimpse of life in the native lands of Icelandic, Finnish, Swedish and Danish peoples. Current exhibits often feature the works of Nordic artists adding a nice splash of color to this modern facility.
