Description

This may be as close to soaring over the splendid scenery of Olympic National Park as you'll get - flying down slopes in the Hurricane Ridge Ski and Snowboad Area come the first flurry of winter white stuff. Despite the fact that this is one of only two extant national park ski areas, the slopes here don't have the hustle of big resorts (and lift tickets are an absolute bargain) and there are plenty of opportunities to get off groomed runs for access to fresh powder.
