Grays Harbor - Fishing

There are great opportunities for fishing in the Grays Harbor area, from freshwater fishing on lakes and rivers to  saltwater and deep sea sport fishing off the coast.

Find yourself a float boat guide and try Lake Quinault and the Quinault River for excellent steelhead action;  fishing off the jetties, piers, and beaches around Westport, Ocean Shores, and Grayland is done with perch, bass, and salmon in mind as well as extensive opportunities to collect clams and shellfish.

Below is a list of spots in the Grays Harbor area that are good for boating. Click on any name for more information. Much of the ocean beaches to the north and south of Grays Harbor are designated public lands, and are open to surf and jetty fishing, as well as clamming and crabbing.

Select Fishing Guides and Outfitters for a list of local fishing guides, bait shops, and suppliers in the area.
