Dungeness Forks Campground

There are 10 campsites that will accommodate tents. Trailers and motorhomes are not recommended due to steep one lane unpaved road access. Well water, tables, fire rings and vault toilets are available. Elevation is 1000 feet. Please pack out your garbage and leave a clean campsite.

Campground is located at the fork of the Dungeness and Graywolf Rivers and is a shaded, forested area with evergreen conifers.

Regular $10.00 camping fee will cover two licensed passenger vehicles and a maximum of eight persons.


 Some More Things to Know

Camping, fishing and hunting are possible. Nearby hiking trails within 10 miles of campground include Graywolf #834, Upper and Lower Dungeness #833, Royal Creek #832 and Tubal Cain #840.

Regular $10.00 camping fee will cover two licensed passenger vehicles and a maximum of eight persons. The two vehicle rule may consist of any combination of the following: Two passenger cars, trucks, and/or recreation vehicles (NOTE: boat trailers and recreation trailers are not considered passenger vehicles).An additional $5.00 fee is charged for each passenger vehicle over the two vehicle rule. The8 people maximum capacity per campsite still applies. Length of stay is 14 days. Pets must be leashed. Golden age/access cards are accepted for 50% reduced fee. Season is from May 1 through September 30.PASS REQUIRED: A Northwest Forest Pass or a Golden Passport (Eagle, Age or Access) is required on all vehicles parked at most trailheads. Day & Annual Passes are available at FS offices and vendors, but not available at trailheads.



 Directions

Travel US Highway 101 north to Sequim Bay State Park. Turn left across from State Park in front of fire station on Louella Road. Drive 1 mile to Palo Alto Road. Turn left and drive 4 miles to FS Road No.2880, turn right and drive 1 mile to campground.
