Douglas Fir Campground

Douglas Fir Campground is located along the Mt. Baker Highway (State Route 542) approximately 2 miles east of the village of Glacier near milepost 36. The campground is situated along the North Fork Nooksack River and has 29 tent/trailer sites of which 18 can be reserved. The remainder are available on a first-come-first-served basis. A day-use shelter is also reservable. The campground has 9 wheelchair accessible sites. There are vault toilets, water and garbage bins. A short trail, Horseshoe Bend, is located within easy walking distance from the campground. Refer to the table below for spur lengths and additional information.

 Directions

Take the Mt. Baker Highway (State Route 542) off Interstate 5 near Bellingham and travel east approximately 36 miles to near milepost 36. Turn left at the campground sign.
