July to September

The trail ascends into Ram Creek in lodgepole pine forest to meadow and subalpine fir areas near Meadow Lake. Trail crosses open country with scattered timber, then traverses the west side of Coleman Ridge and around the east side of Remmel Mountain. to Four Point Lake. The trail drops back into lodgepole pine forest as it descends to meet the Chewuch Trail No. 510 at the 12.1-mile marker.

This trail offers good views of the Andrews Creek and Chewuch drainages. Side trips may be taken to nearby peaks.

Sections of the trail between Meadow Lake and Four Point Lake are difficult to follow - watch for blazes and log cuts.

This should not be considered a through route for stock - the section between Coleman Ridge and Four Point Lake is impassable to stock due to hazardous crossing of large boulder fields.

Wilderness use restrictions apply.

Northwest Forest Pass required.
