Campbell Tree Grove Campground

The campground has potablewater from a well, barrier-free vault toilets.There 11 campsites that accommodate tents andtrailers up to 16 feet in length. This is a remotecampground with limited facilities.

Campbell Tree Grove Campgroundis located adjacent to the West Fork HumptulipsRiver in the beautiful temperate rain forest.Towering conifers including Sitka spruce,Douglas-fir, western hemlock and western redcedar provide dense shade for this beautifulsetting. The forest floor is covered with lush rainforest plants.

Camping, picnicking,hiking and fishing are possible in the area. ThePete’s Creek Trail #858 provides access into theColonel Bob Wilderness and to the summit ofColonel Bob, 4510 feet elevation with panoramicviews of Quinault Lake. The Lower Pete’sCreek Trail #858.1 provides access to the WestFork Humptulips River.

Travel US Highway 101 to FS RoadNo.22, approximately 12 miles south of the SouthShore Quinault Lake Road. Turn east and driveto junction with FS Road No.2204. Follow No.2204to junction with FS Road No.2208. Stay left onRoad No.2204 and drive approximately 9miles to Campbell Tree Grove Campground.
