Description

There are 23 campsites, which will accommodate tents, trailers, and RVs up to 30 feet in length, and 2 walk-in sites. Well water, tables, covered picnic shelter, two loop nature trails, fire rings, and vault toilets are available within the campground. Please pack out your garbage and leave a clean campsite.

Camp units are spaced for privacy in a second-growth forested area. Big Creek, a small stream, is adjacent to the campground.

Hiking, mountain climbing, fishing, swimming, and exceptional scenery can be enjoyed in the area. Two loop nature trails start in the campground, lower loop 1.1 mile, upper loop 4.3 miles. A covered picnic shelter is available for family and group picnics. Day use only at the picnic shelter, and fires only in developed campsites.

Lake Cushman and the Staircase entrance to Olympic National Park are nearby with a public boat ramp available at Lake Cushman State Park. Mt. Ellinor, Jefferson Pass, Mt. Rose, and Dry Creek trails are located within 8 miles of the campground.

The regular $14.00 camping fee will cover two licensed passenger vehicles and a maximum of eight persons. The two-vehicle rule may consist of any combination of the following: Two passenger cars, trucks, and/or recreation vehicles (NOTE: boat trailers and recreation trailers are not considered passenger vehicles).An additional $5.00 fee is charged for each passenger vehicle over the two-vehicle rule. The 8 person maximum capacity per campsite still applies. Length of stay is 14 days. Pets must be kept on a leash.Golden Age/Access Passes are accepted for a 50% reduced fee.
