From Fourteen Mile Trailhead trail goes through some state land then breaks out into open area. Scenic views of the east through lodgepole pine, trail then opens at the top of Horseshoe Mountain and then to Horseshoe Basin. Wilderness use restrictions apply. Northwest Forest Pass required.
